Advanced Manufacturing Expo to go ahead in November, say organisers

Reed Exhibitions, the organisers of the recently-postponed Australian Manufacturing Expo event, has given the rescheduled dates as November 18 – 20.

The three-day expo at the Sydney Showground was originally planned for May 13 – 15. It was postponed last week after the Australian government announced bans on “non-essential” outdoor gatherings of 500 or more people and indoor gatherings of 100 or more.

“Following our earlier announcement regarding the postponement of Advanced Manufacturing Expo in line with Australia government regulations, we have been working closely with our customers, the venue and our contractors to identify the most suitable new dates,” said Reed’s AMX team in a statement.

“We will do our utmost to help all our customers, partners and attendees to prepare for the new dates. Our number one priority continues to be the health and safety of our exhibitors, attendees, industry partners and staff and as such, we will remain guided by the expert advice of the public health authorities.”

@AuManufacturing is a partner to AMX, and will host three sessions at the rescheduled expo.
