The Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing Hub have announced their first Queensland futuremap® workshops, designed for senior executives of manufacturing SMEs, to kick-start their post-COVID-19 advanced manufacturing transformation.
Targeted at small and medium enterprises and delivered in partnership with the Innovative Manufacturing CRC, these workshops may be the first step in a journey of digital transformation for many businesses.
futuremap® is a business diagnostic tool designed to help deepen your understanding of your business capabilities and what’s needed to advance and successfully transform your manufacturing operation.
Workshop attendees will use futuremap® to map the current state of their business and identify where they can lift their awareness, competitiveness and build resilience against 13 key areas of industrial and advanced manufacturing competitiveness. At the end of the session, they will receive a personalised report that not only highlights the improvement areas but guides them to resources that can assist them to take the next step.
“Attending futuremap® shone a light on important and surprising areas of the business. It showed me what is required of leaders in our digital age, and allowed me to better assess technology and innovation investments as an SME. The workshop process was so useful that I attended twice and brought staff along too.” – Matt Tobin, Group General Manager and Co-owner UAP.
The workshops will be hosted via Zoom* on:
- Thursday 9th July 10am – 12pm (AEST) co-hosted with Cairns Manufacturing Hub
