A digital welding platform for an earthmoving attachment manufacturer is among projects being assisted through round two of the WA government\u2019s Regional Economic Development program.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Eight projects (details below) gained state government assistance in the round of grants totalling <\/span>$797,995, including Woodlands Distillery, Dellendale Creamery and Himac Attachments.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cHimac Attachments will receive $47,148 to develop and construct an interactive digital platform for fabrication and welding processes, creating new job opportunities for young people, including school leavers, in the region,\u201d according to the statement<\/a> from WA regional development minister Alannah MacTiernan (pictured).<\/span><\/p> \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cStreamlining the manufacturing process will also boost production, benefiting local steel supply businesses and decreasing the number of attachments that need to be imported.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Picture: Farm Weekly<\/p>
