Australian-owned defence prime NIOA has signed an agreement with US rocket and hypersonics company Aerojet Rocketdyne to explore the manufacturing of critical guided weapons components in Australia.<\/p>\n
The agreement anticipates the future assembly and manufacture of rocket motors, boosters and warheads for munitions within the Aerojet Rocketdyne portfolio which covers a wide range of weapons within Australia\u2019s sovereign Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) Enterprise.<\/p>\n
Aerojet Rocketdyne, part of global aerospace and defence technology company L3Harris Technologies made the announcement on the eve of the INDO PACIFIC 2023 international defence exhibition in Sydney.<\/p>
