Autonomy company Advanced Navigation has announced Maximilian Doemling as its new Head of Product Management, a role described as leading “the strategy and execution of product development, from launch and lifecycle management to maintenance.”
In a statement on Monday, the Sydney-based company said Doemling (pictured) will work closely with its research, development, and go-to-market teams, aligning industry and customer needs across verticals including defence, aerospace, mining, transportation and space.
Advanced Navigation makes electronics such as inertial navigation systems, for “land, air, sea and space applications where GPS is unreliable”.
Doemling’s CV includes more than 15 years leading technical projects across defence, space, and automotive sectors in East Asia and Germany, including at Woven by Toyota and in product development at BMW’s automated driving programs.
CEO and co-founder Chris Shaw said the appointment comes at “a pivotal time” for Advanced Navigation.
“His strategic direction and extensive experience in shaping product ecosystems is the exact skillset required to expand our portfolio and meet the demands of the growing autonomous systems market,” said Shaw.
“We’re excited to have him on board as we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in navigation and robotics.”
