@AuManufacturing partners with Industrial Internet 4.0 Summit 2019.

@AuManufacturing and the Australian Manufacturing Forum have teamed up with the third annual Industrial Internet 4.0 Summit which will take place in Sydney on February 26 and 27.

Peter Roberts, editor of @AuManufacturing will speak at the event and host the afternoon session on the second day of the two day event.

Roberts will speak on Australia’s transition to a manufacturing sector fit for the future – challenge and triumph?

A number of leading Forum members are speakers including Professor Aleksandar Subic, deputy vice-chancellor of Swinburne University, Tony Broughton, vice-president operations of Thales Group and Chris Gilbey, CEO of Imagine Intelligent Materials.

Representatives from industry, government, manufacturing innovation centres and suppliers will gather at the summit at a time when manufacturers are embracing 4.0 platforms, according to the event producer, Shahida Sweeney.

“As the global economy continues to recover, companies must continue to innovate to be able to adapt to ever-changing markets. And we must embrace and support efforts such as Australia’s Industry 4.0 initiative that seek to create opportunities for local manufacturers,” Sweeney said.

The Summit features globally-recognised leaders and local case studies and workshops that focus on the integration between operations and technology, connected networks, mobility, human-machine interaction and big data and analytics.

The programme is available here and ticket inquiries may be made through +61 (0)2 9977 0565. Contact Shahida Sweeney on [email protected].
