Australian Manufacturing Forum goes public

Manufacturing News

@AuManufacturing’s Australian Manufacturing Forum Linkedin networking and discussion group will go public in one week’s time, on August 16.

We hope this move will mean greater reach for member posts and ideas, as well as community growth.

There are no significant chances that will occur for members.

Anyone on or off LinkedIn will be able to see new posts in the group. Even after the group is public, past posts will remain private. Only group members will be able add comments and create posts.

The Forum has achieved extraordinary success and growth since founded in 2011.

During that time it has grown to include 13,555 members, making it the largest group of Australian manufacturers on professional social media.

Five years ago we launched the @AuManufacturing news website which has become the best read Australian manufacturing news source online.

There, we are able to share community views in by-lined commentary and analysis pieces (contact us if you have an idea you would like to talk about in @AuManufacturing news.) Now there will be greater visibility to all Forum posts.

Thank you for being a part of our manufacturing communities, and we look forward to continuing to grow and connect with each other in new ways.

– Peter Roberts and Brent Balinski – managers Australian Manufacturing Forum and founders of @AuManufacturing news.
