Bubs penetrates China baby food retail scene






Goat’s milk infant formula and organic baby food producer Bubs Australia (ASX: BUB) has announced a
partnership with Chinese retailer Kidswant as part of its joint venture with Beingmate established in May 2019.

A ceremony to mark Bubs Organic products’ debut in 275 Kidswant stores in 123 Chinese cities was held in Nanjing to formalise the Agreement.

The partners expect to be selling $6.2 (RMB 30 million) worth of Bubs Organic food a year by 2020.

Bubs CEO, Kristy Carr said: “We are delighted to establish this strategic partnership with Kidswant, the number one baby store chain in China.

“Kidswant’s store footprint and full-service integrated membership model provides us with immediate access to our core potential customers in a trusted ecosystem.”

Kidswant is a multi-channel retailer with $2 billion in sales in maternal and baby goods and value-added services.

Kidswant operates large physical stores, online shopping malls, a mobile terminal app and other
shopping channels.

Bubs will now be retailed in stores in 60 per cent of the cities in China with a population of more than 500,000.
