Capral completes distribution acquisition

Aluminium products manufacturer Capral has completed its acquisition of Allyman Aluminium, an aluminium distribution business in Wollongong, New South Wales, servicing the South Coast of NSW.

The acquisition comes as part of Capral’s commitment to expanding its distribution footprint to ensure it has Aluminium Trade Centres and distribution hubs strategically located throughout Australia, according to the company.

Capral’s NSW Industrial Sales Manager Mark Murray said: “The acquisition of the Allyman business is an integral part of our long-term commitment to supporting Australian trades and manufacturers with reliable access to aluminium products. Our philosophy is that wherever our customers are, they should feel that Capral Aluminium is just around the corner. ”

The Allyman business was established in 2012 and has actively serviced trades and manufacturers in the local area and further afield.

The Allyman business will be rebranded early in 2023, becoming Capral’s third Aluminium Centre in NSW.

Capral Aluminium operates a strategic network of manufacturing and distribution centres producing and distributing a wide range of aluminium products.

Capral CEO Tony Dragicevich said: “Capral has extrusion Manufacturing facilities located in Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, and Western Australia, all supplying world-class locally-made products at short lead times.

“This is an exciting acquisition for Capral as we expand our distribution footprint throughout Australia. The South Coast is a growth area for Industrial trades and Manufacturing, and we look forward to being able to support the needs of local businesses.”

The acquisition took effect today, February 3rd 2023.
