Codan to supply Bangladesh with military radios.

Adelaide’s Codan Radio Communications is to supply the Bangladesh Army with 200 Codan Patrol 2110M Manpacks providing portable tactical communications capabilities.

The company, a division of Codan Limited (ASX: CDA), said the deal gave the company “another multimillion dollar partnership in the Asia Pacific Region.”

The company offered “a technically compliant product with superior quality whilst meeting the clients’ needs.”

Bangladesh will utilise the Manpacks in post disaster recovery efforts, and in the Bangladesh Army’s United Nations peacekeeping missions in the African region.

Codan Radio Communications will be conducting in-country training and support for these Manpacks in the coming months.

The company’s transceivers offer encrypted communications which have proven highly attractive to export customers.

“We’ve gone to great lengths to ensure our manpacks are extremely light, rugged, comfortable to carry, and packed with easy to use features. They are ideal for all types of terrain and weather conditions,” Codan said.
