Additive manufacturing technology business Conflux Technology has won the Manufacturing and Advanced Materials award at the 2024 Governor of Victoria Export Awards, held on Tuesday night.
“We are proud to share that we won the 2024 GOVEA award in the Manufacturing and Advanced Materials category!” the Waurn Ponds, Victoria-headquartered company said on Wednesday.
“Congratulations to the Conflux Technology team and all other category winners this year.”
Conflux specialises in development and limited-run production of additively-manufactured heat exchangers, with international customers in aerospace, space and other sectors.
It finished ahead of finalists Advatek Lighting, a lighting control manufacturer, and castings business AW Bell.
The overall winner was venue and event technology company PMY Group, which also won the Advanced Technologies award.
Dairy business Burra Foods, which manufactures southeast of Melbourne at Korumburra, won the Agribusiness, Food and Beverages category, ahead of Australian Tea Masters and Bubs Australia,
Other winners included pet food company Talentail (Emerging Exporter), dental materials developer SDI (International Health), and patient warming systems maker Care Essentials (Regional Exporter.)
Care Essentials was last year’s Australian Exporter of the Year.
Category winners from the Victorian awards (and those at the corresponding state and territory awards) go on to be finalists in the 62nd Australian Export Awards, to be held November 20.
