CR launches new mining equipment

CR Mining has launched a new cast lip for large mining wheel bucket loaders, the DecaEdge 9-station lip.

The company developed the DecaEdge for bucket wheel loaders of between 14 and 20 cubic metres, with an aim of achieving 25,000 operating hours with no major rebuilds.

The company, which manufactures in Australia and the United States claims a 33 per cent total cost of ownership reduction for individual lips.

CR CEO John Barbagallo said the new offering extended the company’s range in an area where there was keen demand.

Barbagallo said: “CR is the only manufacturer to offer a range of cast lips for mining class wheel loaders.

“The company prides itself on developing innovative, market leading products to help develop and shape the future of mining.”
