Applications have opened for a new cohort of CSIRO’s free Innovate to Grow program, with Western Australian SMEs involved in food and beverage, aquaculture, alternative protein and other sectors invited to apply.
In a statement on Monday, CSIRO announced the return of its Innovate to Grow: Agrifood program for WA. The eight-week, online-delivered program is administered with support from the state’s department of primary industries.
“This program opens doors for local businesses to work with researchers in a way that’s straightforward and practical,” explained Michelle Armistead, Innovate to Grow Program Manager at CSIRO.
“We help businesses turn their innovative ideas into real projects that can solve their everyday challenges.
“Our goal is to make the research world accessible so that even small businesses can partner with experts to bring their innovations to life.”
Applications are open until Sunday April 20, with the first workshop scheduled for May 15. Those in the following sub-sectors are invited to apply:
