Eilbeck delivers Melbourne Metro cranes






Eilbeck Cranes has successfully delivered a specialised 105 tonne portal crane for Melbourne’s largest infrastructure project, the Melbourne Metro.

It is the latest in many cranes the company has designed and manufactured for the $10 billion project. including the recent delivery of three tunnel works cranes for John Holland (below).

Owner Tom Eilbeck said: “We have recently won some of the largest Australian civil crane contracts in history.

“And are now building the biggest cranes which Australia has ever seen, and with many more big big things in the pipeline.”

Founded in 1907, Eilbeck boasts more than 30,000 square metres of manufacturing space in Sydney (below), Melbourne, Perth and Mackay.

Eilbeck makes overhead cranes up to 500 tonnes in capacity, and recently established its own machining division with the purchase of advanced CNC machines.
