Elsight launches Halo secure communications devices

Wireless video and data transmission technology company, Elsight Limited (ASX:ELS) has begun manufacturing what it hopes will be its’ breakthrough product, the Halo communications platform.

The hardware platform incorporates the company’s unique algorithms that facilitate secure and highly reliable communications from remote cameras to control rooms and command centres.

Halo will be available from June as a standalone device or internal board, making it ideal for OEM manufacturers ranging from autonomous vehicles, to military and security devices, hand-held devices and drones.

The company said it considers Halo to be a ‘company maker’.

“It has enormous potential to transform the scale and pace of commercialisation, and enables Elsight to capitalise on the enormous end market opportunities.”

Halo was officially launched at tech and mobile exhibition, MWC19 Barcelona in February, bringing 200 sales leads in the fields of network technology, telco providers, automotive and aviation.

The company also announced that Mick Kelty, former Commissioner of the Australian Federal Police, had joined the company’s board of directors.
