Expressions of interest are open for subsidies worth up to $6,000 through Investment NSW for up to 12  “emerging premium food and beverage manufacturers” wanting to exhibit at the Fine Food Australia trade event.

According to a statement from Investment NSW, Fine Food is the southern hemisphere’s leading trade event for the food industry, attracting over 26,000 visitors from over 60 countries.

The expo alternates between Sydney and Melbourne each year, and will be held between September 2 and September 5 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in 2024.

Investment NSW Deputy Secretary Katie Knight said subsidies are available to as many as 12 NSW businesses to attend as part of the Flavours of NSW zone at the show.

“Thousands of industry representatives will be in attendance, including suppliers, distributors and retail and hospitality businesses, making this an unrivalled event for manufacturers looking to grow domestically and in new international markets,” said Knight.

“NSW is home to thousands of creative and innovative food and drink businesses. We’re delighted to support our exhibitors at this year’s event and showcase the best of what they have to offer.”

Expressions of interest are open until 5 pm AEST on April 26. More information is available here.
