Australian defence contractor Electro Optic Systems (EOS) shared three changes to its leadership team in an ASX announcement on Thursday.
Christian Tobergte was named as the new head of EOS Defence Systems International, with a focus including driving international sales of the company’s Remote Weapons Systems (pictured) products, including its new R150 and R800 RWS products, as well as the new Slinger counter drone system
Tobergte’s background takes in senior leadership roles within German firm Rheinmetall over 13 years, including positions in Dusseldorf, Zurich and Abu Dhab.
Ian Cook is the new EOS Defence Systems head in Australia. Cook has been at EOS since November last year, and is charged with maturing “global engineering, supply chain and manufacturing activities… particularly as we continue to grow EOS sales and production of new products”.
Finally, Chief Financial Officer Clive Cuthell has had Chief Operating Officer added to his remit, which “will see Clive responsible for ensuring execution of key group initiatives to support growth.”
