Evos raises cash to develop EV charger for fleet applications

A new electric vehicle charger company founded by three former employees of Tritium has raised $1.7 million in a seed funding round.

EVOS was founded by Marcelo Salgado, Seshan Weeratunga and Chris Crossman.

EVOS, which produces software and chargers for vehicle fleet owners, raised the cash from manufacturer Circuit Solutions and an un-named listed public company.

Circuit Solutions is owned by automotive accessory and E-Cruise Control manufacturer Autostrada.

EVOS’s flagship product is the EVOS Fleet Home 22 AC Charger which allows electric fleet vehicles to be charged at the home.

Its software offering can control energy systems to make sure the EV is ready for its daily use and charged at the lowest cost.

EVOS also offers a solution for strata buildings allowing cost of charging to be allocated to individual users
