La Casa Del Formaggio, a cheese-making business established in 1988 and employing over 120, will move from Glynde to the food manufacturing hub at Edinburgh.
Brand South Australia reports that a plant would be built at the food processing precinct next year, 25 km from Adelaide’s CBD.
Claude Cicchiello, La Casa Del Formaggio managing director, told Brand SA, “The world-class modern facility will allow us to continue to produce cheese and dairy products for the Australian consumer, foodservice and export markets.”
According to its website, the company’s cheeses are sold at thousands of supermarkets and specialty stores around Australia, and its range includes haloumi, mozarella and burrata cheeses.
