Flinders to hold free “AI for Manufacturing Productivity” event in Adelaide’s CBD

A free, 45-minute event focussing on “how artificial intelligence tools are being used to increase productivity in industry” will be held in Adelaide’s CBD on Friday, April 11, from 2 — 2:45 pm.

Flinders University’s City Campus will host the Innovation Bytes session, titled AI for Manufacturing Productivity. The session is part of the Innovation Bytes series, described as “small units of information for getting more innovation into your business, with coffee and cakes.”

The session “explores aspects of investment, training, management and technological capability and invites interactive questions for the presenters.”

It will feature the below presenters and topics.

  • Dr Kathryn Anderson, Program Director, Innovation Central Adelaide – Flinders’ strategy for supporting tech enabled industry; 
  • Dr Bruno Pereira, Researcher in innovation – The evidence for increasing productivity in manufacturing with AI; and 
  • Richard Dodsworth, Tech Advisor, Innovation Central Adelaide – Insights from the field.
