Spanish, multi-billion Euro major pool equipment maker Fluidra has acquired West Australian commercial pool manufacturer Chadson Engineering.
Chadson has operated for more than 50 years and claims to be the country’s leading manufacturer of commercial filtration systems for swimming pools, water theme parks, marine parks, and aquaculture.
It claims to be Australia’s only manufacturer of contact moulded fibreglass and grade 316 stainless steel commercial filtration systems.
Fluidra is a Spanish pool manufacturer specialising in technology such as filtration, pumping, disinfection and water treatment, and has a market cap of $6.72 billion.

The acquisition is expected to close at the end of the year.
