Grants announced for incubators in manufacturing, cyber security, food and ag-tech

Three startup hubs have received grants under the latest round of the federal Incubator Support program.

Melt Accelerator and Canobolas Ventures (from NSW) and Victoria’s Cyrise Accelerator received grants of $500,000, $430,379 and $106,025 respectively through the program, which is for incubators with a focus on international trade.

“These start-ups will be able to prototype, pilot and produce products, which can strengthen traditional industry in Australia, as well as be sold around the globe,” said industry minister Karen Andrews in a statement today.

“Being innovative and embracing technology is essential for industry to continue to flourish and to create new jobs.”
