GSMA joins up for Industrial Transformation Australia event in July

Hannover Fairs Australia has announced a new partnership with GSMA for the upcoming Industrial Transformation Australia (ITA) 2025 event.

In a statement on Friday, event organiser Hannover Fairs Australia (a subsidiary of Deutsche Messe) said that GSMA’s Head of Asia Pacific, Julian Gorman, has also joined its Industrial Transformation Advisory Committee.

GSMA is a non-profit industry organisation, representing over 1,000 mobile operators and businesses worldwide. 

“Advanced connectivity solutions like 5G, IoT, and edge computing are transforming the industrial landscape, enabling smarter, more efficient, and more sustainable manufacturing,” said Gorman. 

“Through the GSMA APAC 5G Industry Community and other initiatives, we are committed to accelerating this digital transformation, ensuring businesses can fully leverage these technologies to enhance productivity, resilience, and competitiveness.”

The ITA trade show will take place July 22 – 24 at The Dome, Sydney Olympic Park, and is free to attend. It is described as dedicated to advanced manufacturing and offering “practical, actionable insight into how manufacturers can gain competitive advantage leveraging cutting-edge technologies like 5G, IoT, and edge computing.”

Mike Nissen, Hannover Fairs Australia’s Commercial Director, added that: “ITA 2025, in partnership with GSMA, will give manufacturers first-hand access to the latest advancements industry 4.0 solutions, showcasing how a more digitalised and customised capability can drive change, improve outcomes, and relieve current, ongoing pressures.”
