Halo Food wins $9.5m Coles contract extension






Halo Food Co (HLF) has been awarded an extension of a contract to supply Coles Supermarkets with private label products over the next two years.

The exclusive contract extension for multiple powdered products in various pack formats, flavours and sizes is worth approximately $9.5 million, depending on consumer uptake.

The contract is is in addition to the $3.3 million per annum Coles contract secured by Halo in November 2021.

Halo CEO Danny Rotman said the win ratifies the company’s strong relationship it has built with Coles over the past ‘couple of years’.

Rotman said: “Halo has delivered throughout the initial term and cemented our reputation and credentials as a leading manufacturer for quality, consistency and on time delivery.

“Halo continues to maintain its high-profile clients in a competitive environment while simultaneously growing the sales pipeline with new wins, new clients and increased volume of orders.”

The products will be manufactured at Halo’s Australian facilities adding to new orders won by its Australian operations of $5.3 million over March.

Hals sells under its own brands Healthy Mummy, Tonik, Key Dairy, Super Foods and Gran’s and is a major contract manufacturer of home and retailer brands.

Products include milk powders, functional beverages, weight loss products, plant-based snack foods and fudges.

Shares in Halo Food Co were down 1.71 per cent yesterday to 5.6 cents yesterday.
