How good is the Australian Manufacturing Forum Linkedin group?

How good is @AuManufacturing’s sister networking and discussion group, the Australian Manufacturing Forum on Linkedin?

We founded the Forum in 2011 as a place where like minds – those of us excited about developments in Australian manufacturing and keen to work together to ensure its future – could come together in a safe place.

Then five years ago myself and co-editor Brent Balinski founded the @AuManufacturing news website and newsletter – now the number one best read online in the Australian manufacturing space.

This website believes Australian manufacturing is news, that exciting things worth reading about are happening everywhere, and that the issues and opportunities facing the sector deserve a place in the media sun.

But while @AuManufacturing has grown rapidly, so too does the Forum – the largest professional social media grouping of Australian manufacturers with 12,769 members.

We rarely pat ourselves on the back, so please forgive us if we do, but the latest statistics for the Forum (pictured) show an extraordinarily engaged and active group.

Yesterday the statistics showed that in the past 15 days 180 new members had joined, and there were 6,193 active online members who had made 24 posts and numerous comments and insights.

In the past 15 days members had made an incredible 61,094 post views on Linkedin.

Seems there were more than just Brent and myself out there championing the cause of Australian manufacturing, and keen to learn of and celebrate its successes.

Thank you one and all.
