Hungry Jack’s launches Australian developed plant burger

Hungry Jack’s fast food chain has surprised the market announcing that it will launch a new plant-based burger on natonal markets tomorrow.

Hungry Jack’s CEO Chris Green issued a brief press release on the Labour Day public holiday (today) announcing the new burger, to be known as the
Rebel Whopper would be available in all stores on Tuesday.

The burger has been developed with new Australian start-up v2food, as reported in @AuManufacturing news.

The start-up business is a collaboration between CSIRO, Main Sequence Ventures and Hungry Jack’s owner, Competitive Foods Australia.
