Zero Carbon Hydrogen Australia, an initiative within industry body the Smart Energy Council, has announced the launch of its Hydrogen Innovation Challenge.

The challenge offers the winner free publicity in the council’s magazine, a showcase at its Smart Energy Conference and Exhibition in Sydney next month, and a 12-month membership with the organisation.

Nominations opened on January 18, will close on February 15 at 5 pm (AEST), and winners will be formally announced on March 7, at the exhibition.

Joanna Kay, General Manager of Zero Carbon Hydrogen Australia, said the competition is “designed to highlight and accelerate the most innovative technologies” in renewable hydrogen.

“The Hydrogen Innovation Challenge offers a platform for applicants to showcase their groundbreaking technologies to industry leaders and in the renewable energy sector. Green hydrogen will play a key role in helping Australia to achieve its renewable superpower potential.”
