ICN develops new electronic B2B marketplace

The Industry Capability Network (ICN) has partnered with Brisbane software developer IONYX to launch ICN Connect, a new B2B marketplace.

Developed after the COVID-19 pandemic hit, ICN Connect is designed to make it easier for buyers looking for products and services to find someone to meet those needs.

It is aimed at businesses that need to urgently source a product or service where their normal supply chains are failing them or where the product or service is unique or proving difficult to locate.

Buyers can create a listing for free until 30 September 2020, to market the products or services they are seeking.

Suppliers can then search for buyers of their products that may be in oversupply because of COVID-19 or other supply chain issues.

Executive Director ICN Limited Warren Jansen said: “Market needs are changing rapidly. ICN Connect makes it easier to strengthen supply chain needs in this new environment.”

ICN Connect is integrated with the existing ICN Gateway, which gives access to a network of around 80,000 suppliers.
