Jatcorp develops new Asia-destined products

Manufacturing News

China export specialist Jatcorp has developed a range of new products for its Asia-focused dairy, wellness and consumer goods businesses and signed a new China distribution deal.

Jatcorp (JAT) , formerly Jatenergy, told investors in a business update that it had expanded sales to Taiwan and Vietnam, while also signing a deal to sell a new brand, Moroka Formulated Milk Powder through supermarkets in China.

Its new China partner, which complements existing sales channels, is Shengding Pty Limited, which takes up exclusive rights to the Australian-made Moroka powders in Chinese supermarkets.

It is also expected that Shengding will move to distribute JAT’s lactoferrin milk derived supplements in supermarkets and retail chains.

To date JAT’s lactoferrin brand Neurio has sold through mother and baby stores on the Chinese mainland.

Meanwhile JAT has received its first orders from Taiwan – $354,000 worth of goat milk powders made at its Victorian Australian Natural Milk Association dairy (pictured).

ANMA has also received orders for canned formulated milk powder and lactoferrin from Vietnam.

New products developed for China include a milk formula targeted to the diabetic market, Jinvigorate.

The product has been granted a low GI symbol certification by the Australian Glycemic Index Foundation.
