Little Green Pharma ships first Australian medicinal cannabis export

Little Green Pharma has made the first-ever export shipment of Australian medicinal cannabis destined for patients in the United Kingdom.

The Perth company announced its cannabis oils products would be distributed in the UK by Astral Health and follows the opening up of import procedures by the UK Home Office.

LGP managing director Fleta Solomon said: “Little Green Pharma is one of a few companies with GMP-produced cannabinoid medicines available in the UK.

“We are proud to be leading the charge in helping patients across the globe access quality Australian products.”

LGP is a vertically integrated medicinal cannabis business from its indoor cultivation facility in Western Australia through to manufacturing.

Astral Health is a subsidiary of the LYPHE Group, which operates a network of seven medicinal cannabis clinics across the UK.

Litle Green Pharma also has a three-year sales agreement for the sale, export, and distribution of LGP Classic medicinal cannabis oils and LGP-cultivated dried cannabis flower in Germany via Berlin-based DEMECAN.

Last month LGP commissioned its expanded cultivation facility in WA which has the capacity to produce sufficient cannabis flower to manufacture more than 110,000 bottles of medicinal cannabis oil per annum, ten times the current level.
