A request for proposals has been made from companies interested in inhabiting the Bradfield City Centre’s First Building, which will also house the Advanced Manufacturing Research Facility (AMRF), near Sydney’s second airport.

According to a statement from the Western Parkland City Authority on Tuesday, the First Building is scheduled to open this year and “will kickstart growth in advanced and emerging industries”. The nearby Western Sydney International airport is scheduled to open in 2026.

Up to 318 square metres of lettable commercial area is available on the ground floor of the building (also known as “Tenancy 2”.) It is earmarked “for businesses dedicated to manufacturing” or the centre’s “other focus industries.”

WPCA Chair, Jennifer Westacott said: “The First Building will be a thriving hub of innovation at the forefront of the growth Bradfield will deliver for advanced industries.

“This is a real opportunity for an industry leader to help shape Bradfield’s future and act as a magnet for innovation across all Western Sydney.”

RFPs can be submitted until 2 pm, May 28. More information is available here.

Editor’s note: The AMRF is a sponsor of @AuManufacturing’s current Australia’s 50 Most Innovative Manufacturers campaign.
