Wattle Health signs agreement with Verdure Nutrition Supplements

Infant formula manufacturer Wattle Health Australia has signed an agreement with Verdure Nutrition Supplements to provide the company’s organic infant formula to the Middle Eastern market. The 10 year agreement will see Wattle’s Uganic range (pictured) produced by contract manufacturer Blend and Pack from product supplied from Australia. Uganic will be the first organic and GMO-free infant formula available in the region.

Elsight raises $11 million from shareholders

Video surveillance and secure communications company Elsight has successfully raised $8.17 in a renounceable rights issue. Shareholders and new institutional investors took up the offer, which is to be followed by a further placement to raise $2.8 million. The funds will be used to gain regulatory approvals for its products and to fund a range of commercial opportunities.

Eden Innovations raises $4.5 million

Carbon fibre reinforced concrete manufacturer Eden Innovations has successfully raised $4.5 million in a placement to institutional investors. The funds will be used to accelerate commercialisation of its Edencrete and Optiblend products. Eden has penetrated numerous markets in North America for roadway and other concrete remediation and construction projects.

Manufacturer register extended to offer export opportunities

A Covid-19 Manufacturer Response Register introduced in March to coordinate production for critical goods in response to the pandemic has been opened to international buyers. This would, said federal industry minister Karen Andrews, mean that manufacturers would “be able to utilise the skills and supplies they have developed and keep people in jobs, while helping in the fight against COVID-19 overseas.” More information can be seen here.
