Superyacht MY Bold out of the water

Perth shipbuilder Silver Yachts has released pictures of its super-yacht MY Bold on the slipway at its Henderson yard south of Perth. The MY Bold was lifted out of the water for service at the yard where it was built in 2019. Silver Yacht boasts a team of 150 professionals at Henderson, with every step of the production process housed in its 6,000 sqm facilities. The yard features two building halls, a fit-out hall, an interiors division, design offices and workshop spaces. MY Bold, at 85 metres long and 1.054 gross tonnes is Silver Yachts largest vessel. The company builds vessels up to in aluminium.

New agrifood venture capital fund

Tenacious Ventures has establish what it calls Australia’s first and only specialist agrifood tech investment firm. The company announced it had closed our first fund, oversubscribed, at $35 million. The fund is backing startups building a carbon neutral and climate change resilient future of food and agriculture such as GOTERRA SwarmFarm Robotics and Nori Vow RapidAIM Pty Ltd. Tenacious is backed by cornerstone commitments from the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) and Mike & Annie Cannon-Brookes’ personal investment fund, Grok Ventures. Over the past year, Tenacious has made six investments.
