Many not prepared for Cyber Attack – webinar March 19

Manufacturing News

Manufacturers have been subjected to a lot of fearmongering about the perils of cyber attack.

But, according to Michael Murphy, Head of Operational Technology and Critical Infrastructure APAC at cyber security solutions, hardware and services company Fortinet: “The threat landscape is very real.”

And many Australian companies are neither adequately protected nor do they have a plan for recovery.

Murphy, a speaker at @AuManufacturing’s latest webinar – Secure Your Business Against Cyber Attack, on Tuesday March 19, 11.00am AEST – said many companies do not know the full extent of what is connected to their IT and operational technology (OT) systems.

In a conversation moderated by co-editor Peter Roberts, you will gain insights from:

Julie Harrison is CEO and Managing Director of Harrison Manufacturing and a director of a number of import/export and manufacturing companies in the Harrison Group. A CPA, Julie has a strong foundation in accounting, finance strategy and marketing.

Grant Tinney, Founder, Chairman/CTO at STÄRKE – Advanced Manufacturing Group (AMG) is responsible for providing guidance to the management and shareholders of this diverse group. STÄRKE encompasses companies in machining, fabrication, plastics and injection moulding, commercialisation and innovation and mould and die production in Australia and the United States.

And Michael Murphy.
