Nanosonics cleans up in Covid times

Medical device developer Nanosonics UK branch has begun the installation of 17 of the company’s trophon2 systems (pictured) into a large National Health Service trust.

The systems are used for high level disinfection of ultrasound probes including those used internally in patients during ultrasound examinations.

The coronavirus pandemic has highlighted the use of Nanosonics devices for infection prevention.

The trophon2 is an automated device which is highly effective against a wide range of microorganisms.

The system has won the Good Design Award Gold for Design Excellence as well as the Premier’s New South Wales Export Award two years in a row.
