REDARC Defence & Space has unveiled its new Mission-Capable INEOS Grenadier vehicle at Land Forces Exposition 2024 taking place in Melbourne.
The vehicle is a 2023 INEOS Grenadier Trialmaster Edition which has undergone a comprehensive customisation process to showcase the company’s power solutions and capabilities in a realistic, challenging environment.
REDARC has a long history of delivering reliable automotive and off-road power solutions to remote, harsh environments.
The General Manager REDARC Defence & Space Scott Begbie said: “Redarc Defence & Space is built on a foundation of innovation and collaboration.
“The INEOS Grenadier embodies this ethos and is the perfect platform on which to showcase not only our product and integration capabilities but also our world class partners that helped bring this project to fruition.”
REDARC integrated a comprehensive suite of power, communications, and recovery gear in the vehicle.
The company partnered with a range of Australian suppliers representing a suite of equipment commonly found on Defence land vehicle platforms.
This included Command, Control, Communications, Computers (C4) Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) equipment from a broad spectrum of Australian SMEs, while the vehicle’s cargo area fit-out and mounting hardware were sourced by local manufacturers.
INEOS Automotive Head of Region – Asia Pacific Justin Hocevar said: “The INEOS Grenadier has proven itself to be highly resilient in some of the harshest of conditions.
“It’s incredible to see the engineering feat REDARC Defence & Space has achieved with their custom-built Grenadier, which showcases the very best of advanced Australian manufacturing innovation.”
