Details of the fourth annual Inside Advanced Manufacturing showcase in Queensland have been released, with the September 4 – 15 series to feature 21 manufacturing businesses and ten manufacturing support organisations across six regions.

Manufacturers “will host guests on a behind-the-scenes, expert-guided tour” of facilities, according to a statement from the Queensland government on Tuesday, and explain the innovations that have helped transform their businesses.

Exhibitors on the schedule (a list of participating manufacturers is available here) include public art company Urban Art Projects (pictured), contract agtech manufacturer Cirrus Ag, food and beverage company Dr. Oetker Queen, and cylinder maker D&T Hydraulics & Engineering.

“UAP has consistently invested in new technologies and processes for making and manufacturing and we are happy to share our story to hopefully inspire others to adopt and adapt in these times of extraordinary change,” said Urban Art Projects General Manager, Amanda Harris.

“Manufacturers are makers at heart, and we look forward to showing the robotics, vision systems and user-centred software interfaces helping UAP to extend career paths and improve productivity and prosperity.”

Manufacturing minister Glenn Butcher said that the showcase would celebrate the best of the industry in Queensland, and that tours were likely to fill up quickly.
