SCSA Taipan rifle launched in US

Southern Cross Small Arms (SCSA) has launched its Taipan X pump action rifle in the United States through its distributor Legacy Sports International.

Taipan X is an evolution of the Sydney manufacturer’s Taipan range and is billed as a tactical-style centerfire pump action rifle.

SCSA took to social media and hailed Taipan’s arrival on US shores as a significant milestone for the company, marking a strategic expansion into one of the most crucial firearms markets globally.

“This venture, in collaboration with Legacy Sports International, is a testament to the brand’s international caliber and the dedication to their craft.

“As the SCSA team navigates this exciting growth phase, there’s an air of anticipation for the impact the Taipan X will have in the US.”

However, SCSA said it was mindful of its roots and remains committed to its Australian customers.

“The company is fully engaged in ensuring that this expansion does not affect the availability of…products locally.

“SCSA will do its best to maintain a steady supply to the Australian market, recognizing the importance of the home audience that has been central to their success.”

According to the company Taipan X combines the versatility of a spring-assist pump-action and the precision of a straight-pull bolt-action rifle.
