ShawX builds the tip truck for when you don’t want a tip truck

A focus on new ways to solve old problems has seen Queensland-based ShawX Manufacturing develop an alternative to the conventional tipper truck.

The manufacturer of custom earthmoving equipment, truck bodies and trailers looked at what was available and designed and built EjectX (pictured), an ejector body that is able to eject material without the safety hazards of a tipper.

The company said: “The EjectX efficiently deposits its payload exactly where and how you want it.

“Our innovative new plough has a horizontal hydraulic ram that pushes the material along the body, as the tailgate automatically lifts – all while the truck remains in a stable position.”

The ram also comes with an air-assisted option.

EjectX has found uses in depositing rock, concrete, demolition material, crusher dust and hot and cold asphalt.

ShawX worked with specialist steel producer Bisalloy Steels and selected its wear and structural steels for the truck body.

Brett Shaw, Director at ShawX Manufacturing commented “We pride ourselves on being an Australian owned family business.

“We offer an all Australian made and manufactured product using Australian steel thanks to Bisalloy.”
