Solidteknics wins at Naturally Good Awards

Australian-made cookware company Solidteknics has won Best Australian Manufactured Product at the second Naturally Good awards this week.

The Sydney-based company took out the category with its AUS-ION range of frypans and baking trays, made out wrought Australian iron. These are described as “best for everyday oil and fat cooking and can be seasoned to build and maintain a healthy, natural non-stick surface.”

 “We’re a small team based in Sydney who work hard along with our manufacturing partner, so it’s wonderful to be recognised,” said Solidteknics’ Operations Manager, Kara Wright.

“Our range is indestructible and designed to be passed down from generation to generation. There’s so much complexity to manufacturing, so the fact we can make it happen in Australia means a lot.

“We’ve had a lot of interest at the show this year and are hoping healthy living stores and distributors will consider stocking the range.”

There were 13 categories at the awards, held at the International Convention Centre on Monday.

“Being presented with such a prestigious award is a major accolade which will accelerate growth and interest in winning brands,” said Naturally Good Product Manager, Sinead Kavanagh.
