Manufacturing News

IoT security systems manufacturer Spectur’s offshoot 3 Crowns Technologies (3CT) has signed a three-year contract for $787,428 with Transport for NSW with optional extensions to nine years and a total price of $2.6 million.

The company offers a range of solar powered surveillance and security systems which can be connected to a base via the Internet of Things (IoT).

According to a statement the contract for hardware and software includes:

  • Live webcam vision with night vision enabled cameras for 23 existing locations including all hardware supply, installation, maintenance, software and data provisions as a managed service
  • Expansion to further fixed locations currently being scoped
  • And provision of new mobile trailer systems.

The contract follows on from a contract with 3 Crowns Technologies which was extended by six months earlier in 2024 and will be replaced when the new contract is implemented, anticipated to be in January 2025.

“This contract win follows on from earlier substantial contract wins with other 3CT entities in Q1, in addition to general growth within the Spectur business.

“Total sales including longer term contracts to date this financial year at 13 November 2024 are $4.18 million, a 90 percent increase over FY24 October YTD results of $2.205 million.

“Whilst many of these sales are longer term contracts and have not yet converted into revenue in FY25, they underpin long term, secured recurring revenues.”
