Sydney Advanced Manufacturing Expo postponed






The coronavirus has claimed another victim with Reed Exhibitions postponing the Advanced Manufacturing Expo (Sydney), which was planned to be held from 13-15 May

The Expo, the renamed National Manufacturing Week (Sydney), will be held in the second half of the year according to an announcement.

National Manufacturing Week (Melbourne) 2021 is unaffected.

@AuManufacturing News is a sponsor of the event and had planned three CEO roundtables hosted by @AuManufacturing editors.

Reed said the effects, actual and projected, of Coronavirus are becoming evident across all aspects of our lives.

“In the context of the current situation, and following the Australian Government directive, we have made the difficult but appropriate decision to postpone.

“Reed Exhibitions will work closely with our customers to find the most suitable alternative dates for the event.”

Reed apologised for the inconvenience, saying the decision was made for health and safety reasons.

“We fully understand and appreciate the level of planning the level of planning that is required to participate in an event like ours.

“We will do our utmost to help all our customers, partners and attendees to prepare for the new dates.”
