Sydney’s RPC Technologies opens sixth plant.






Leading composites manufacturer, RPC Technologies has opened its six factory in Townsville to support work on the city’s Haughton Pipeline Duplication Project.
The facility will produce Flowtite fittings for the project and employ local trades, adding to its 500 staff.
RPC specialises in continuously wound glass reinforced plastic (GRP) pipe for Defence, Infrastructure, Renewables, Environment, Pipe Systems, Resources, Energy and Transport Sectors.
Leading products include composites developed to lower weight on armoured vehicles made by Thales in Bendigo.
The company has plants in Sydney, Adelaide, Geelong, Newcastle and Batam Island (Indonesia).
