THC Global buys cannabis clinic network

Farm to pharmaceutical cannabis group THC Global has bought Tetra Health, a leading Australian clinic network giving it access to a potential 10,000 patients.

The company, which operates two growing facilities and a pharmaceuticals biomanufacturing facility (pictured), bought Tetra for an undisclosed sum

Tetra comprises 600 referring physicians, 30 prescribing physicians and a national network of dispensing pharmacies for cannabis products.

The clinics mainly consult with its 1,100 currently active patients via a web-based telemedicine platform.

Post the purchase the companies plan to expand their network in Australia and explore a market launch in New Zealand.

The business also earns significant fees for sharing de-identified data and evidence generated through patient management.
