Food packaging and processing manufacturer tna Solutions ends the year having opened new factories in Europe and Australia.
The Melbourne company has just moved into its newest factory at Boronia in Melbourne, investing $8 million to triple production capacity for its wide range of machines spanning food processing sectors. Earlier this year it inaugurated a new factory in the Netherlands.
The company employs 500 and has installed 14,000 processing and packaging systems globally. 95 per cent of equipment made in Melbourne is exported.
Nadia Taylor, co-founder and director of tna said the company, which opened its first factory in 1986, was incredibly excited by the expansions.
They not only increased manufacturing capacity, but strengthened capabilities building a platform for future expansion.
“It is also great news for our customers who now have even more room to test our equipment.”
tna is a global leader in processing and packaging in areas including snacks, confectionery and fresh and frozen produce. Its brands include tna, NID, Arcall FOODesign and Unique Solutions.
