Wellnex Life’s cannabis brand goes on sale

Pharmacy supply company Wellnex Life has announced that with its joint venture partner OneLife Botanicals has successfully launched its new medicinal cannabis brand, Wellness Life.

Sales began in July with product being prescribed by registered medical professionals under the Special Access Scheme (SAS) in Australia and dispensed by pharmacies.

Wellness Life provides patients Australian medicinal cannabis products, with two doctors appointed to staff and undertaking training of pharmacists and ‘to prescribe Wellness Life products to patients’.

The CEO of Wellnex Life George Karafotias said: “We are well positioned to take advantage of the growing demand for prescription medicinal cannabis.

“We have quality Australian product manufactured by OneLife Botanicals, an experienced team led by Dr Sylvia Victor and great partners which makes this project very exciting.”

Dr Victor is the lead of the joint venture business.

The medicinal cannabis market in Australia is projected to reach US$356.7 million in 2024.
