Bubs Australia, which recently stepped in to answer the USA’s infant formula shortage, won the top award at the Australian Export Awards on Thursday night.
Eighty-four finalists – all winners at their states’ and territories’ export awards this year – made the nation’s top export awards, held at Parliament House in Canberra.
Bubs work to export over 1.25 million tins of Bubs infant formula to the US as part of the Biden administration’s “Operation Fly Formula” was noted in a statement from trade minister Don Farrell.
“Bubs Australia grew from a Sydney kitchen in 2006, to a leading exporter of organic formula, toddler milks, baby foods and snacks to 10 export markets, including China, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and the US,” added Farrell.
Other winners at the awards included Redarc Electronics in the Manufactiuring and Advanced Materials category, LED maker Coolon in Resources and Energy, and Little Green Pharma in International Health. A full list of winners is reproduced below.
