Geoff Rogers, PhD
Engineer, Inventor & Founder
As one of Australia’s most highly regarded engineers, Geoff is an award-winning inventor and technology innovator. Nothing excites him more than solving long-standing industry-based problems.
With deep technical expertise, research and scientific rigour, and strong practical skills, he has invented multiple ground-breaking technologies in the healthcare and automotive sectors.
With a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Monash University, Geoff invented the world’s smallest micromotor, just two strands of hair thick, as a student. After publishing several high-impact papers, he co-founded his first company which was acquired by a global medical device company in 2017.
Since then, he has invented multiple other technologies, including the world’s first commercially viable active wheel alignment (AWA) system, which has been a long-standing technology gap in the automotive industry since 2005. Today, AWA has been successfully tested and evaluated by multiple carmakers worldwide.
For all his achievements in technology innovation, Dr Rogers has achieved multiple national and international awards, including the highly regarded Prime Minister’s Prize for Science: New Innovator, 30 under 30 Global Medtech Innovators, European Young Technology Award and a Premier’s Award.
Dr Rogers and his companies have been featured heavily in local and international press, and he has been an ambassador for the Victorian Government to promote excellence in public school education.
