Packaging business Detmold Group has announced that it is building a new headquarters at Adelaide, consolidating a team of 240 staff from across eight sites around the city at the one building by the end of 2026.

In a statement on Monday, Detmold said the new three-level site at 260 Regency Road, Regency Park will be designed by Studio Nine Architects and built by Centina.

It will cover 5,100 square metres and include “formal and informal meeting spaces with an open-plan design, breakout areas, on-site parking, end-of-trip facilities, and an onsite café, opening onto a spacious, green outdoor terrace” said Detmold.

The site will also house Detmold Group corporate function staff and those from sales companies Detpak, PaperPak, Detmold Medical and Cup & Carry, “alongside existing manufacturing and warehousing facilities.”

The company said that production at Brompton will continue, with a plan to roll those operations into Regency Park “within the next five years.”

Group CEO Sascha Detmold Cox described the upcoming site as, “Purpose-built with sustainability, collaboration and employee wellbeing in mind, our new corporate home integrates contemporary design with environmentally-responsible solutions and an open-plan layout that supports collaboration and innovation.”

According to Detmold Group’s website, the family-owned company was established in 1948, employs 2,800 globally, operates across 17 countries and manufactures in seven.

Site works at Regency Park are scheduled to begin this month, with the project completed in October 2026.
