DroneShield has launched a new civilian market product, SentryCiv, which it says “empowers non-military sectors to safeguard critical assets against rising drone threats”.

According to a statement from the AWX-listed counterdrone company on Monday, the product adds a “non emitting (completely passive) new layer of security” to sites at risk of drone threats, such as airports, stadiums and data centres.

DroneShield cited features including “real-time alerts, threat prioritization, customizable zones, data logging, and integration with third-party systems” through the SentryC2-Civ platform; and “dot-on-a-map” identification and tracking of drones.

CEO Oleg Vornik said SentryCiv “offers a comprehensive, scalable solution that provides real-time detection, and situational awareness.

“This next-gen technology is engineered to seamlessly integrate into existing  security frameworks, enabling a rapid response to potential threats without disrupting operations.”

The company said that predicted sales figures were currently unquantifiable, these were “expected to be material”.

SentryCiv is being offered purely on a subscription basis, and, as with its other products, will offer quarterly software updates.
